Founded in 1919, Bradford Armature Winding Co. (BAWCo) has over 100 years’ experience in industry, specialising in: electric motors; motor control gear; variable speed drives; gearboxes; pumps and transformers.
We support an extensive and diverse customer base, with vast experience across multiple sectors including: chemicals; engineering; construction; oil & gas; defence; extrusion; quarrying; aerospace, textiles and healthcare.
Our Facilities
Our facilities hold extensive stocks of electric motors, primarily Brook Crompton, at our in custom-built workshop in West Yorkshire, affording immediate access to low voltage motors, up to 400kW, and a variety of 3.3kV motors. BAWCo is a distributor of Leroy Somer, Nord and SEW Eurodrive geared products and Sacemi, Lowara and Grundfos pumps. Additionally, we manufacture a range of transformers and chokes to meet customer specifications and offer a repair service to suit.
