Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, Brook Crompton motors are highly reliable, designed to deliver consistent performance, improved efficiency, and long service life.
In fact, many of our replacement motors have run for decades — a true testament to their engineering.

High-efficiency industrial motors, such as IE3 and IE4-rated motors, offer lower energy consumption, reduced running costs, and improved environmental performance.
Efficiency ratings are one of the biggest considerations when purchasing a new motor. This is because electricity can make up around 90–95% of a motor’s total lifetime cost, with purchase and maintenance accounting for only a small fraction.

No, Brook Crompton is not a Chinese company. It is a British brand with a long history of engineering and manufacturing high-quality motors, trusted worldwide for reliability and performance. While the company is part of the Wulong Group, a global industrial group, Brook Crompton’s motors continue to be designed and engineered to the same exacting British standards.

You can buy Brook Crompton motors right here at BAWCo, North East, as well as from other distributors across the UK. Thanks to our long history and strong relationship with Brook Crompton, we can offer the best discounts and have access to over £6.5 million worth of stock. Just keep us bookmarked — if you’re browsing around, you can always come back for a great deal and fast service.
